Tall Tales for Brighton Festival

"What are they doing?"
"Oh they're doing art."
Just one of the responses to Three Score's Brighton Festival performance on the beach in this year's Brighton Festival. Choreographed by internationally renowned choreographer Lea Anderson, Tall Tales was commissioned by the Arts Council and Brighton Festival with additional financial support from OLT. It helped celebrate the Festival's 50th anniversary by bringing together 50 dancers over 50 in a reenactment by the West Pier - to the surprise and amazement of Sunday day trippers. The piece was based on interpretations of the images of Bauhaus artist Oskar Schlemmer and involved strange and wonderful costumes and props. A special sound track was could be listened to on phones. The performers consisted of the company supplemented with members of its regular Technique Classes.
